About Us

Since 1998, Classic has stayed specifically with accounting software for mining, exploration, Oil & Gas. During these years, Classic has added more mining specific modules and functions. Many of these are not available in any other software that we know of anywhere in Australia. By concentrating on one industry we have kept the cost of development down and now we can pass that saving on to our customers.

       Classic Information Systems has software training and support facilities as well as programming expertise in-house in Perth, Western Australia. The company is wholly Australian owned by the Managing Director and Company Secretary who both work within the company.

       We provide all technical software support from our office in Perth. From our experience in supporting remote mine sites across Australia and internationally, this is as good a location as any without having an office on each site, especially given the reliability of the Classic software. The only travel necessary is for initial training purposes if requested.  

Recently Classic has deployed its software in “the cloud” environment, so we can provide support anywhere in the world. (Also knows as SaaS or Software as a Service)
